Introducing my spring collection!

I know it isn’t maternity related, but I’m so excited that I couldn’t help but share with you all!! I just released the SS2011 collection of my clothing line – and I’m soooo happy with how it turned out!! It’s called Sunburnt Country, and it’s inspired by one of my favourite Aussie poems.

I also want to take a second to thank my incredibly sweet friend Tieka for modelling this collection for me, and her husband Brett for doing all the photography. They did such an amazing job!! I love those two, and I could not be more thrilled with the lookbook!

Your DIYM!

I’ve been thinking about adding a new series to DIY Maternity. I’d really like to start featuring some of the great maternity clothing you’ve all been making – probably once or twice a month. What do you think?? I think it would be great to see what everyone is making!

I think a nice and easy way to do this would be to pull projects from the DIYM Flickr pool – so starting next week, I’ll be choosing some favourites to feature here on the blog.

If you’d like a chance to have your project featured, then please join the DIY Maternity group, and upload some photos! Your project doesn’t have to be based on something you saw on DIYM, just something you made to wear while you’re pregnant or nursing!

I’ll be linking back to the original photos in Flickr, but if you’d like a link to your blog as well then please add your blog URL to your Flickr photo description.

Sewing Pattern requests

Ok so I’ve been working on a few new sewing patterns, but I can’t seem to figure out which one to prioritize.  So I was wondering if you  could take a second to give me some feedback below?
