I am so so excited to introduce you all to the gorgeous and incredibly talented Liz of Cotton and Curls. Liz is going to be regularly posting here on DIYMaternity over her pregnancy – and I’m excited to see what she has to share with us!
Liz has been blogging since 2010 – and has created a really wonderful collection of tutorials on her blog that reflect her wonderful sense of style. She has a totally adorable little boy and is now expecting another little boy- which has expanded her sewing into the realm of all things maternity. So exciting!
I really hope you enjoy all the wonderful projects she’ll be sharing here over the next few weeks! I know i certainly can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeves!
So till then, pop on over to Cotton and Curls and having a look around!
Hi! This is Blanca from Tes Pes al Miayo. I am a mother of two year old twins, boy and girl, that are, of course, the love of my life. I work as a full time engineer, so I only get to sew (and blog) at night… and I’m not a big photographer, that’s why all my pictures look so dim. I have little experience in blogging but, thanks to my mum and grandma, I have been sewing almost all my life. My technique may not be fully pro, but most of the time things turn out just fine!
I offered my modest blogging and sewing skills to Megan, and guess what? She accepted! Thank you, Megan, for having me.
Greetings readers and Monday morning!
My name is Grace from over at Camp Patton and I’m so grateful to Megan for letting me pop in this morning to share and spread some maternity wares wealth!
Ready to meet this weeks Mommy spotlight?
I’ve been thinking about adding a new series to DIY Maternity. I’d really like to start featuring some of the great maternity clothing you’ve all been making – probably once or twice a month. What do you think?? I think it would be great to see what everyone is making!
I think a nice and easy way to do this would be to pull projects from the DIYM Flickr pool – so starting next week, I’ll be choosing some favourites to feature here on the blog.
If you’d like a chance to have your project featured, then please join the DIY Maternity group, and upload some photos! Your project doesn’t have to be based on something you saw on DIYM, just something you made to wear while you’re pregnant or nursing!
I’ll be linking back to the original photos in Flickr, but if you’d like a link to your blog as well then please add your blog URL to your Flickr photo description.
This is gonna be fun!!
