I got a lovely email from a reader last week asking for some advice on nursing swimwear:
I am so excited to announce that I will be making my Lulu dress and top pattern available for free from now on!!
How cool is that?! I love this pattern so much and I hope you do too!! Since it’s created with rows of shirring it’s perfect for throughout your pregnancy and beyond!
Just a little reminder that DIYM is accepting new sponsors for June! If you’re looking to advertise your business, website or blog, check out our affordable rates here!
I really love how this dress turned out!! Sometimes I think it’s good to look at non-maternity clothing to get inspiration for maternity wear – and the other day when I saw this dress from Jcrew I thought it would make a great maternity dress with a few changes. Like an empire waist instead of natural waistline – and elastic instead of drawstring.
And this is what I arrived at! Cute hey?? And it was so ridiculously easy! A great beginner project!

I know it isn’t maternity related, but I’m so excited that I couldn’t help but share with you all!! I just released the SS2011 collection of my clothing line – and I’m soooo happy with how it turned out!! It’s called Sunburnt Country, and it’s inspired by one of my favourite Aussie poems.
I also want to take a second to thank my incredibly sweet friend Tieka for modelling this collection for me, and her husband Brett for doing all the photography. They did such an amazing job!! I love those two, and I could not be more thrilled with the lookbook!
So head on over and check out the lookbook and tell me what you think!! (I’m dying to know!) I really hope you like everything as much as I do!!
